Jonathan Kelley appears now for his fourteenth season playing the role of Mr. Cormack in "Too Many Tamales.” Born in Boston, Jonathan has been drawn since his college years to all aspects of Latino culture. In film, he appears as Gary, the hippie leader of a desert commune, in the soon to be released feature film “Amor en 266 Millas” He plays Alicia Vikander’s dead father in the youtube video, “I am Easy to Find.” Besides acting, he’s also a chef specializing in croissants and cooking with coconuts, a pianist with particular interest in boogie woogie and Joplin rags, a weaver of coconut palm fronds, a neon artist, and a glass cutter. This year Jonathan published two books: “Counting Backwards from 100: My Life as an Anesthesiologist,” and “Short Stories by Jonathan Kelley.” Both are available on Amazon. Jonathan and his wife, the lovely Puerto Rican actress Gloria Laino, will appear together soon in an upcoming episode of the popular TV show, “Better Things.” Their mix is like Puerto Rican arroz con gandules served next to New England style cranberry sauce.
