XX, of Braintree, MA, died on (blah blah blah) of (blah blah blah) Born in Boston May 11, 1937, the daughter of Dr. and Mrs. Sylvester Baker Kelley, XX grew up in West Newton, MA, and Duxbury, MA. She attended the Winsor School in Boston, Duke University, and graduate school at the University of Minnesota. In Minneapolis, Sarah and her first husband Charles T. Silverson raised four children, all now with successful careers of their own: artist Chaucer Silverson of Bozeman, MT; publicist Jane Aronson of Sunnyvale, CA, airline pilot Peter Silverson of Portland, ME, and business manager Michael Silverson of Boston, MA. XX taught English as a Second Language at the University of Minnesota, and co-authored ‘Speak Easy’ for BBC English by Television. XX leaves her several grandchildren, her children’s partners, her devoted second husband, David Shepherd, of Braintree, MA, and his extended family; as well as her siblings David Baker Kelley of Redmond, WA, Jonathan Merrick Kelley, of Sierra Madre, CA, and Elisabeth Carling Trexler of New York City. XX enjoyed playing the piano, to the great pleasure of all who heard her. She also summarized her maturing views of life in a poignant collection of poetry: ‘Sarah’s Haiku.’
